Our client, an industry-leading manufacturing facility, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Milton, ONPay Range: $25 - $28 per hours (based on experience)Day shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday to FridayWhat's the Job?
Install, inspect, test, repair, and maintain a wide range of industrial and building equipment, focusing on electrical and electronic systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment using standardized methods and CSA codes.
Design, build, assemble, modify, and install electrical controls and systems, including preventative maintenance duties according to TPM schedules.
Maintain service equipment, work areas, tool crib, and spare parts inventory, ensuring tools and parts are available when needed.
Support the quality department by performing functional tests and final mechanical inspections of products to ensure they meet quality standards before shipment.
What's Needed?
High School Diploma/GED required
Minimum 2 years of general maintenance experience
Must be able to lift parts up to 35 pounds
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship
