- Schedule powder, compacting, sintering, and machining areas (daily, weekly, monthly)
- Forecast and develop capacity plans; monitor visual scheduling and inventory boards
- Maintain and reconcile outside processor activities including releases, transport, and inventory
- Perform month-end and year-end inventory processes and cycle counts
- Manage internal container systems and support customer returnable packaging systems
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance pack/movement methods
- Participate in APQP activities, pull systems, and JE improvement teams
- Cross-train with Customer Service and Production Control Assistant
- Design and maintain racking systems within the plant
- Ensure compliance with Quality Management and Environmental Health & Safety Systems
- High School diploma
- College education relevant to materials control (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in materials control or planning is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with real-time inventory control systems
- Exposure to APQP processes or automotive manufacturing
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of scheduling systems and OEE forecasting
