SalaryLine Cleaner/Machine Operator in Leading Cosmetics Manufacturer, Scarborough, ON.Leading cosmetics manufacturer in Scarborough is looking for Line Cleaner to start ASAP!!!Full-time position, 40hrs/week.Working location: Scarborough, ON (Sheppard & Brimley)Night Shift: 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM, Sunday night to Friday morning, 40 hours per weekPay rate: $19.42/hr plus 4% vacation payAfternoon shift: 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per weekPay rate: $18.53/hr plus 4% vacation payJob Duties:
  • Inspection of equipment prior to use, prevent discrepancies
  • Use the proper cleaning agents and sanitize under GMP guidelines and department SOPs
  • Assemble and disassemble equipment
  • Preparing for cleaning and sanitizes for processing within the health and Safety guidelines and
department SOP * Proactively identify and resolve safety concerns
  • Observe and conform to all corporate EH&S guidelines and procedures
  • Adhere to established Lockout/Tag out Programs
  • Maintain clean work environment on the production floor and within the maintenance shop
  • Conform to all ergonomic assessment requirements
  • Maintain a clean orderly work area according to GMP guidelines
Job Qualifications
  • Secondary School or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year in machine operation and plant sanitization
  • Able to do heavy lifting up to 50lbs
  • Good mechanical knowledge is an asset
  • Knowledge of small tools and light assembly
  • A clean criminal background is required
