- You will lead with a forward-thinking approach that helps our clients solve problems and promotes the team’s development.
- You will provide project management and technical support on transportation projects for public and private sector clients with a focus on bridges and culverts.
- Managing designs for the replacement or rehabilitation of standard/major bridges, culverts and pedestrian bridges.
- Managing teams in the preparation of drawings and contract documents and supporting designs.
- Providing guidance, including mentoring, and instruction, to junior staff.
- Advancing projects through the planning, concept, design, and construction phases.
- Preparing technical reports, modelling and design calculations.
- Engaging in a collaborative work environment with your team as well as other disciplines and offices.
- Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution.
- Registered, or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer or Engineer-In-Training with APEGA.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in bridge engineering within the consulting industry.
- Experience working Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors is an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Ability to travel throughout Alberta.
