The maintenance helper reports to the Maintenance Repairable Supervisor and works in close collaboration with his/her team members, as well as members of the other departments. The Maintenance Helper ensures goals and objectives are attained, while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle's company culture, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
  • Work with and support mechanics;
  • Preform minor mechanical tasks;
  • Manage waste material generated by the maintenance department;
  • Maintain clean work areas at various maintenance shops;
  • Clean and prepare components for shipping;
  • Identify and label repairable components;
  • Operate mobile equipment to move material;
  • Perform basic inspections and report any issues to the supervisor;
  • Gather tools, parts, and materials needed for maintenance tasks;
  • Help maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
