Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world.The RoleIn this role, you will:
  • Operate raisebore/longhole drills and all associated equipment
  • Co-ordinate moving, set-up, teardown, and placements of raisebore/longhole Drilling equipment and Drills
  • Assist in the installation and removal of bits and reamers.
Required:
  • Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a raisebore/longhole operator in a mining environment
  • Minimum of 2 years underground work experience
  • Strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills
  • Rotating day shift/night shift schedule
Recommended:
  • Experience in longhole drilling and blasting
  • Ability to obtain a Saskatchewan Blasting certificate
  • Mine Rescue experience
  • Ability to operate small pieces of equipment (skid steer)

Employees commute to the site by aircraft from designated locations in Saskatchewan.Vacancies identified within a unionized work location will be governed by the respective collective bargaining agreement.
