ShareLocated in Edmonton, ABSalary: $22-25/hrAn Edmonton client is searching for an Accounts Receivable- Collections to join their team.Accounts Receivable- Collections Highlights:The Account Receivable Specialist will manage the collection process for specialty accounts within the organization's receivable system. This role involves overseeing billing accounts, resolving invoice-related issues, handling customer complaints, ensuring accounts are up to date, and taking necessary action for outstanding payments. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong Excel skills, and have experience in data entry.· Specific Responsibilities:· Oversee collection of invoices for specialty accounts receivable system, utilizing AS400 for daily review of past due issues.· Assist a team of 12 individuals in resolving issues related to accounts receivable, with a focus on senior-level responsibilities.· Handle and resolve customer complaints regarding accounts receivable, including addressing rating and posting errors. Manage invoices ranging from 1-50 per day.· Regularly review the status of accounts receivable to ensure timely resolution of short payments, with the majority of accounts operating on a Net 30 payment term.· Take necessary follow-up actions to ensure collection of outstanding amounts, including phone calls, faxes, and potentially small claims court or placement with an outside agency.· Respond to customer requests for service and information promptly, including processing credit card payments when necessary, which can range from 1-50 calls per day or in-house processes.· Correspond with web portal customers through online platforms such as Cass, ADP, and Nulogx, providing support via email and phone as needed.· Provide weekly spreadsheet reporting of collection accounts, utilizing Excel to present aging reports and other relevant data.· Assist the Credit Manager with set tasks and projects, focusing on detail-oriented tasks, accuracy, Excel proficiency, and data entry, with additional responsibilities in payables entry.Accounts Receivable- Collections Hours & Wage· 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM – Monday to Friday· $22-25/hrAbout Us:Specialized Recruiting Group works with job seekers to help them find the right job for their skills and experience.
