AccountantOur client is seeking an Accountant to join their team. This role is responsible for supporting full-cycle accounting and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of monthly financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting skills, experience in financial statement preparation, and a proactive approach to process improvement within a dynamic and evolving environment.Your success will be defined by your ability to:
  • Record transactions and prepare financial records to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Analyze financial statements and reports, to identify trends and discrepancies
  • Assist with preparing Year-End Reports
  • Assist with the implementation of a new ERP system by entering and validating data
  • Provide support to the team with ad hoc tasks
Your strengths include:
  • Diploma or degree in Accounting
  • Intermediate Excel skills: data mining, complex formulas, pivot tables, and automation
  • Experience with Great Plains is an asset
  • Proven experience as an Accountant, with minimum 5 years of experience required
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
