Location: Toronto, ONJOB DESCRIPTION:Responsibilities:
- Design secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud architectures across public, private, or hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Implement cloud security controls including IAM, network segmentation, encryption, key management, data loss prevention, and security monitoring.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2).
- Define and enforce security policies, standards, and guidelines for cloud adoption and usage.
- Perform risk assessments and threat modeling for cloud applications and services.
- Review architecture and design documents, conduct security reviews, and provide remediation guidance.
- Evaluate and recommend security tools, services, and third-party integrations for cloud environments.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for cloud security technologies and architecture.
- Document cloud security architectures, procedures, and best practices
