
Dispatch and Sales Co-Ordinator

- Acknowledge and assist all customers as required
- Entry of orders received in person, via phone, fax, and email
- Acknowledge receipt of customer orders
- Check stock levels via Divalto
- Utilize Samsara (dispatching software) to manage inbound/outbound freight
- If necessary, transfer stock from other locations
- Work with sales to Schedule/Coordinate truck shipments
- Address any issues that come up during transit
- Assist in resolving customer issues related to freight transportation
- Audit/correct carrier freight invoices
- Address and escalate issues when necessary
- Verify customer delivery requirements are being met
- Assist drivers/carriers throughout dispatch as needed
- Attention to detail, must have the ability to follow up on multiple tasks
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Minimum 2 years of applicable work experience in fleet coordination
- Accountable, proactive and a problem-solver
- Organized, detail-oriented – excellent follow-up skills are essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and preferably in ERP system
- Must be able to work flexible hours from Monday to Friday, overtime may be required and must be available to work occasionally on weekends
- 3 years experience working in a construction or building materials environment would be an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
