SSA is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Traveling Site Superintendent to oversee commercial retail renovations and big box store remodels across Saskatchewan. This is a 3-month contract with the potential for extension based on performance and project needs.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery
- Enforce strict health and safety standards on-site
- Conduct daily site inspections and progress reporting to project management
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure timelines and expectations are achieved
- Proactively identify and resolve any site issues or delays
- 3+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent, preferably in commercial retail and big box store renovations
- Proven track record managing fast-paced, occupied-site renovations
- Strong ability to manage trades, schedules, and quality control
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Must be willing to travel and remain on-site for the duration of the contract
- Valid driver's license required
- Work on high-profile commercial retail projects
