That is why at IMP, you are not defined by your role.Position Overview:To provide a full spectrum of Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) solutions for various IMP contracts which include Commercial and Military, Aerospace, Naval and Land Programs.What You Will Do:
  • Produce Logistics Support Analyses; sparing, initial provisioning, end of life extension analysis, Level of Repair Analysis (LORA).
  • Carry out Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety (RAMS) investigations and analyses. Create reports to recommend improvements / solutions.
  • Obsolescence identification and mitigation.
  • Systems monitoring and trend analysis.
  • Life Cycle Cost (LCC) and trade off analysis.
  • Data gathering, manipulation, sanitization, and parameter calculations.
  • Troubleshooting, detailed research and investigation, root cause analysis.
  • Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis.
  • Development of Maintenance Task Rationalization (MTR) programs in accordance with MSG-3 which will include maintenance plans and procedures for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of aircraft systems.
  • Identification of spares for support and test equipment requirements.
  • Development of life-cycle planning in support of in-service programs.
What You Will Bring:
  • Education: Engineer/Technologist/Technician or be a graduate of recognized aircraft maintenance (M, S or E) program or apprenticeship program or acceptable related technical experience.
  • Minimum of five years in a mechanical, propulsion, electrical, avionics/electronics or other technical trade environment is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in Logistics Support Analysis is highly desirable.
  • Experience in using the following software tools: Windchill Quality Solutions (Relex or similar RAMS Modelling application), Omega PS (or similar LSAR database) Omega PS Analyzer (or similar LORA, LCC, spares modelling) is considered an asset.
  • Understanding of the Department of National Defence (DND) infrastructure is considered an asset.
  • Computer literacy is essential with experience in Excel and Word etc.
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels.
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to IMP Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies. Continually focusing on your individual safety and the safety of others who may be affected by your work and to fully comply with all Federal Health and Safety Legislation.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement, Lean & 8S activities in your area.
  • Must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Secret Level II Security Clearance through PSPC- Contract Security Program, and Transport Canada RAIC clearance.
