On-site role | Recruitment Firm Exclusive (IN OFFFICE ROLE, NOT REMOTE)Client with accommodate moving expenses for the right candidate.Our client, a well-established and growing organization, is currently seeking a Pension & Benefits Manager to join their Human Resources team in Regina, Saskatchewan. This on-site role is a key position within the HR leadership group, responsible for overseeing the design, administration, and continuous improvement of pension and benefit programs across the organization.Reporting directly to senior HR leadership, the successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring compliance, optimizing plan performance, and enhancing the overall employee experience to support engagement and retention initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development, implementation, and management of company-wide pension and benefit programs, including plan evaluation, market reviews, design, and administration.Create and maintain efficient operational procedures and workflows.Ensure accurate adjudication and administration of benefits in accordance with plan provisions.Maintain benefit records and develop reporting mechanisms to ensure proper documentation and transparency.Conduct regular quality assurance reviews of benefits-related data to ensure integrity and compliance.Provide data-driven insights to ownership and executive leadership on benefit trends, cost projections, and program opportunities.Develop and implement KPIs to monitor service delivery and identify areas for process improvement.Ensure all pension and benefit programs comply with applicable legislation, regulations, and internal governance.Advise senior leadership on emerging issues and trends, offering expert recommendations on pension and benefit strategies.Manage and coach a team of direct reports, including performance management, training, and succession planning.Foster a collaborative and cross-trained HR environment.Other duties as required to support HR operations and strategic goals.Required Skills & CompetenciesExceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and navigate sensitive issues.Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with a problem-solving mindset.Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience managing direct reports.Excellent time management and organizational skills, with high attention to detail and a commitment to employee engagement and satisfaction.Qualifications & ExperiencePost-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field.Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in pension and benefits management.CEBS designation or working towards completion is considered a strong asset.In-depth knowledge of pension and benefits legislation, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.Technologically savvy, with a proven ability to implement systems and tools to enhance HR effectiveness.Professional, self-motivated, and adaptable individual with a collaborative approach.Must be willing to travel occasionally as required.This is a confidential opportunity managed exclusively by our recruitment firm.
