We are also a leading supplier of uranium refining, conversion, and fuel manufacturing services from our operations in Ontario.The RoleThe Analyst, Market Research (AMR) exists as the primary source of Cameco's fundamental analysis related to the nuclear fuel cycle, the nuclear power industry, and associated and/or other direct and indirect markets.In this role, you will:
  • Perform market and economic analysis, including research on the nuclear fuel cycle, with emphasis on uranium supply and demand fundamentals.
  • Producing customized analysis/presentations on industry fundamentals for corporate internal and external consumption.
  • Competitive intelligence gathering/tracking and providing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
  • Support activities related to Cameco's revenue forecast.
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in commerce (finance/accounting/marketing), economics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant work experience.
  • Advanced computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office Suite (notably Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI data modeling).
  • Knowledge of economic modelling and financial metrics.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a desire to learn.
Recommended:
  • Understanding of the nuclear industry.
  • Experience with CRM databases and software.
  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) applications.
