WHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGResponsible for developing preparing and checking drawings of crane lifting & transport projects, by preparing and selecting existing-and-renewed engineering method. The candidate is also responsible for managing project by means of project preparation, execution coordination and technical drawings (supported by engineering)Work with engineering manager for review and preparation as per Mammoet procedures of all engineering deliverables.
- Coordinate and prepare engineering solutions and issue accurate advice at request or at own initiative, taking into account the applicable standards
- Communicate and monitor engineering plan(s) with customer, supervisors and
- Manage and direct operations in line with the Project Management Planning and agreed contract.
- Coordinate with the relevant approver(s) to review engineering documents
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline; equivalent field experience will be considered an asset.
- Proven experience supporting crane lifting and transport operations in the field, including active involvement during execution phases.
- Strong working knowledge of heavy lift engineering, crane charts, rigging configurations, ground bearing pressures, and lift planning.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret, prepare, and review lift plans, transport drawings, and execution sketches in support of site operations.
- Hands-on experience working directly with operators, supervisors, and lift crews to resolve execution challenges in real time.
- Familiarity with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations related to crane operations and heavy lifting.
- Experience participating in project preparation, mobilization, execution coordination, and demobilization for construction, maintenance, or turnaround environments.
- Strong understanding of field constraints such as access, sequencing, schedule pressure, and changing site conditions.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including customers and site leadership.
- Comfortable working in industrial environments, including refineries, plants, and construction sites, with a willingness to spend significant time in the field.
- Proficient in relevant engineering and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD or similar); experience with crane-specific planning tools is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple work fronts while maintaining safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
