- Focus on Talent Development: Build a strong team by training, coaching, and providing timely & constructive feedback, performance appraisal, and accountability.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Apply lean manufacturing principles, foster disciplined use of systems for learning, and execute processes right the first time to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Empower Employee-Centric Culture: Enable employees to act and contribute value through a bottoms-up philosophy while recognizing and rewarding individual and team contributions.
- Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with other leaders to ensure effective transitions between teams and shifts. Share best practices, learnings, continuous improvement & learning opportunities to ensure knowledge and best practices are applied across the greater shift team.
- Our production supervisors work 12-hour rotating work schedule that includes weekends and holidays, in a 24/7 operation
- Previous experience leading/supervising a team
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing, industrial or military environment
- Three (3) or more years' experience in a leadership role
- Previous experience leading/supervising a manufacturing or operations team
- Previous experience leading in unionized manufacturing environment
- Post-secondary education in a technical or technology discipline (i.e. Maintenance, Welding, etc.)
