We believe in ongoing improvement and innovation and promote a strong commitment to work-life balance among our employees.In collaboration with the MD Program and MedIT Departments, we are undergoing a transformation in Medical Education Information Technology to support a high-quality teaching and learning environment. This major project has a two-year implementation horizon and will result in an integrated Learner Management System for both the MD Program and PGME.As the End User Coordinator, you will provide front line customer service to our postgraduate medical education community as they interact with our primary online system for the purposes of registration, assessment, evaluation and scheduling. Utilizing your strong troubleshooting skills, you will respond to end-user service requests in a timely manner and escalate to technical specialists where needed. You will also be responsible for testing software and hardware, along with training end-users.Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to end-user service requests in a timely fashion and escalating problems as required
- Applying established standards when resolving routine and documented end-user issues
- Providing detailed explanations on computing procedures
- Liaising with technical specialists to resolve end-user issues
- Generating reports
- Testing and analyzing new and upgraded software and/or hardware
- Training end-users on procedures and the use of supported IT systems
- Drafting and editing training content and supporting documentation
- Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience serving as a primary point of contact to provide end user support, ideally in a medical education or similar setting
- Demonstrated experience providing learner management system technical support
- Understanding and familiarity with teaching and learning environments in medical education
- Demonstrated experience developing and delivering in-person and web-based training and providing comprehensive support to end-users
- Experience managing data and generating reports
- Advanced technical skills, including proficiency with MS Office Suite and comparable registration and evaluation systems
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with a wide range of stakeholders
- Relentless attention to detail and accuracy is imperative
- Strong commitment to customer service excellence
- Ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
- High degree of initiative
- Experience working with POWER system preferred
- Experience working in a medical education (or similar) environment
