- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implements departmental initiatives with the goal of improving services and on-time delivery.
- Interface and collaborate with internal and external customers, establishing strong working relationships, and driving the continued growth of the EH&S services.
- Enhance companywide communication by promoting knowledge share between the EH&S Service team and the rest of the organization with the goals of enhancing the technical acumen of the company and improving overall customer satisfaction.
- Improve and ensure team adherence to procedures while handling escalated external customer requests such as order status and follow up, expediting, shipping, and product receipt.
- Develop and maintain customer specific performance metrics and scorecards to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the EH&S Service team and lead an interactive training program that utilizes resources such as internal, hands-on process training, offsite courses, and seminars to promote the continuous growth and development of the organization.
- Provide challenging opportunities that promote continuous improvement and enhance employee career growth, recognize and reward employees for accomplishments, and assist HR in the recruitment process for EH&S Service team roles.
- Contribute towards various non-routine responsibilities, projects, and company growth initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or related scientific or technical field required.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience of performing and managing teams or projects focused on EH&S services.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience of personal subject matter expertise or credentials (PE, CSP, CIH, etc.) in one or more of the EH&S services listed.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in safety sales and distribution.
- Established client relationships relevant to the services outlined above.
- Fluency or proficiency in French (Canadian) highly preferred.
- Experience working collaboratively with union-represented employees in support of EHS initiatives preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel 50% of the time.
