People will count on you to critically analyze training needs to establish the most effective learning strategies for our education programs with measurable performance outcomes.You are a dependable partner who can successfully apply proven learning and development best practices to complete projects in a timely manner. You are open and collaborative to be part of a team that is expanding and undergoing changes. You are focused on performance, organizational objectives, and people. We are continually looking to improve existing internal processes and implement new ones – and you look forward to adding your voice, experience, and unique perspective.This is a full-time permanent position located at any Intact office across Canada.What you’ll do here:Analyze training requests to determine the specific training needsEstablish measurable learning objectives and the best training strategy to achieve the designed learning outcomesPropose effective and innovative development strategies centered on the needs of the learner and the organizationManage large-scale training projects and be the point of contact between all partiesPlan the project journey, and communicate and collaborate with all necessary stakeholders throughout the duration of the projectDevelop the training architecture, support the development of training, provide reviews and revisions, and seek approval from the relevant stakeholdersIdentify evaluation metrics and follow up on the achievement of learning objectivesKeep up to date with industry best practices, the latest trends in instructional design, technology and trainingSkills and experienceBachelor’s Degree in Education, Adult Education, Education Technology or equivalent work experienceMinimum 7 years experience working in learning and developmentComprehensive knowledge in adult education and adult learning theoriesExcellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExceptional written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to adapt to new technologies and changing needs of learnersExperience with assessment and evaluation of learning programsKnowledge of the insurance industry is an assetBilingualism (English/French) is strongly preferred considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English speaking colleagues across the country.No Canadian work experience required but must have authorization to work in Canada#LI-HybridWhat we offerOur hybrid work model provides the balance between working from home and enjoying meaningful in-person interactions.Working here means you'll be empowered to be and do your best every day.
