Closing Date: September 12, 2025Position SummaryThe Digital Project Management Office (PMO) team plans and implements key strategic Digital programs and projects to deliver outcomes benefiting UHN and the health system. We apply best practices for managing projects, change, and risk to ensure high quality deliverables, effective coordination of resources, and transparent progress reporting. Members of the PMO work in close partnership with a broad range of stakeholders, bringing the right teams together to streamline the demand, end-to-end delivery, and operational services in order to mobilize change and achieve value.An exciting opportunity is available to showcase your talents as a Project Analyst within the Digital PMO portfolio. This position will deliver solutions that are data-driven, bring value to our stakeholders, and achieve UHN's business objectives. We are seeking an organized, results-driven, innovative individual who can support various types of digital projects that support clinicians, researchers, educators, patients, and corporate business areas. These initiatives include process redesign, software implementation, data analytics, and solution selection/design and implementation. The incumbent will support initiatives and projects within the Education portfolio and assist with scoping of demands within the Patient Experience Portfolio.Duties
- Lead simple to moderately complex projects of small to medium scope, including planning, and monitoring project progress through tracking project milestones, risks and issues to deliver project within the planned budget, schedule, and with a high level of quality
- Scope out demands by analyzing business needs, problems, opportunities, and potential solutions
- Evaluate and validate solution value and benefits to the organization, supporting business case development and return on investment analysis
- Conduct workflow review and process redesign, and support continuous improvement processes
- Coordinate system design, build and testing
- Design data collection processes, collect and analyze data, lead data reporting and data visualization activities
- Apply rigorous project management techniques to assist in the management of project plans, schedules, status reports, and budgets
- Apply sound change management techniques for effective stakeholder engagement and communications, training, and implementation support
- Develop adequate level of knowledge of the subject matter and digital systems being implemented to effectively move projects forward
- Undergraduate Degree in Health Informatics or Administration, Technology, Science, Business, or related field required
- Minimum 1 year of Project Management, Business Process/Analysis, and Data Analysis experience or equivalent required
- Sound knowledge of project management standards (project planning, implementation, evaluation, risk assessment, benefits realization) required
- Experience leading project workstreams or small projects independently, and either supervising or influencing project team members required
- Experience developing/coordinating the development of business requirements
- Experience in leading and conducting workflow mapping and analysis
- Experience in delivering management-level presentations, training and/or end user support is required
- Experience in applying change management methodologies and tools an asset
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Change Management certification an asset
- Familiarity with healthcare information systems, interfaces, HL7, ITIL, data centre, network infrastructure, and/or enterprise architecture an asset
- Experience with Epic system an asset, including use, build and/or vendor certified
