For this role, we are open to remote workPlease note this position requires the ability to work PST hoursAbout the OpportunityProvide deal support to Dayforce Sales organization through strategic consultation, helping structure and price deals to drive growth and profitability. You will play a critical role in shaping deal strategy, aligning internal stakeholders, and guiding deals from proposal through execution. This is a highly visible role at the intersection of Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations, and it requires a strong mix of analytical rigor, operational excellence, and business judgment while ensuring all financial and operational controls are maintained.You will be empowered and accountable for the end-to-end processes which will lead to sales wins for Dayforce. The role is ideal for someone who high-energy, thrives in a fast-paced environment, is energized by problem-solving and delivers with precision and urgency.What you'll get to do
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather detailed requirements that ensure proposed deal structures can be operationalized effectively and accurately modeled in pricing and quoting tools.
  • Execute problem-solving methodology to provide deal recommendations while following the necessary Delegation of Authority requirements (discounting and contracting) and support proper revenue recognition and ACV reporting within our finance system.
  • Cultivate strong partnerships with your peers in cross-functional teams (sales, services, legal, finance, product management) to ensure Sales to order creation cycle is efficient and seamless.
  • Manage manual document preparation and Salesforce.com updates when the configuration system cannot be leveraged.
  • Provide Salesforce.com quoting and contracting configuration support to the commercial organization.
  • Identify gaps or breakdowns in current deal processes and provide, clear actionable feedback to business stakeholders to help inform improvements that enable more repeatable and reliable execution. Provide testing support for the Salesforce quoting and contracting releases – across both process and product changes – to ensure offerings are configured priced and able to be quoted efficiently and accurately by the Sales team.
  • Participate in the development of procedure documentation to ensure consistent execution of processes occurs within the department.

Skills and experience we value
  • Willingness to learn accounting principles and revenue recognition concepts; exposure to ASC 606 is a plus but not required. Highly proficient in the use of CPQ systems with a solid understanding of the downstream impacts (Salesforce preferred).
  • Strong business and financial acumen with a customer-centric mindset; able to adapt in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment and work flexible and extended hours during peak periods.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to convey complex concepts in layman’s terms to all levels of the organization up to the C suite.
  • Strong technical competency using tools such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes while driving performance.
  • Strong organization and planning skills; must be able to multi-task, work well under pressure while maintaining a positive disposition.
  • BS in Business Admin./Finance/Marketing preferred or equivalent combination of education and related experience. 4+ years of experience in Finance, Sales, Procurement or similar, with 2+ years of experience in global deal desk operations supporting a large sales team preferred. Strong financial acumen required.
