Corporate Estate Administrator, Restructuring and RecoveryLocation: Toronto, ON | Industry: Professional Services | Employment Type: Full-Time HybridOur client a dynamic mid-sized advisory firm with a strong presence in corporate restructuring and insolvency is seeking a Corporate Estate Administrator to support their growing recovery and restructuring practice. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team that helps businesses navigate complex financial challenges and formal insolvency processes.The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing time-sensitive administrative and compliance responsibilities within a fast-paced professional environment.Key Responsibilities:Administer corporate insolvency files, including data entry of creditor, debtor, asset, and liability informationFile statutory documents with the Official Receiver and/or Court, manage regulatory deadlines, prepare affidavits, and coordinate legal notices and advertisementsCorrespond with stakeholders and respond to or triage inquiries as appropriateReview and track creditor claimsSupport the preparation of stakeholder reports and engagement summaries, including meeting minutes and internal documentationAssist with claims under the Wage Earner Protection ProgramPrepare and file HST returns for corporate filesManage accounts payable and disbursements, including cheque preparation and backup documentationMaintain and update firm-managed web pages related to active insolvency filesAssist with billing processes, including time entry, invoice generation, and tax filings for court approvalPerform PPSA and corporate registry searchesSupport scheduling of professional staff across various engagement filesCoordinate logistics such as appointments, travel, and internal meetings for professional staffLiaise with vendors and manage engagement-related service contractsPrepare and maintain online data rooms for use during formal proceedingsProvide general administrative support to restructuring professionals as neededQualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience in an insolvency administration role within a professional services environmentExperience using insolvency software "Ascend" is requiredEnrollment in or willingness to enroll in the Insolvency Administration Course offered by CAIR or IAA designationStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and high attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to handle sensitive data and confidential materials professionallySelf-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentComfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team settingAbout the Opportunity:This is a great opportunity for an experienced administrator looking to specialize or grow within the insolvency and restructuring field.
