This confidential and voluntary program offers personalized care, fostering positive change and well-being.As part of our Affiliate Network, you’ll offer video and tele counselling from your private practice, utilizing a short-term, solution-focused approach. You’ll benefit from clinical supervision, streamlined referrals, and the chance to make a significant impact on your community. - Provide Short-Term Counselling: Offer solution-focused support for various personal and work-related issues.
- Client Needs Assessment: Evaluate needs, set objectives, and develop strategies within the EAP plan.
- Develop Client Strategies: Create action plans to help clients achieve their goals.
- Administrative Management: Maintain client records and manage administrative tasks.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work with TELUS Health's EAP team and participate in clinical supervision.
- Compliance and Confidentiality: Ensure client confidentiality and follow professional and ethical guidelines.
- Professional Development: Stay updated on mental health trends and engage in ongoing growth.
- Master’s Degree in Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work
- Professional College membership or registration with a counselling Association, with valid professional liability insurance
- Minimum of five (5) years post-graduate counselling experience with multiple populations
- Ability to set short-term objectives and use a solution-focused approach
- Ability to clinically manage high-risk cases, including clients who are a threat to self or others
- Able to work with individuals, couples, and families and possess good knowledge of community resources
- Professionally maintained private office space with a strong internet connection and suitable equipment for video and tele counselling
- Availability to provide French counselling support is required
