It reinforces a culture where quality, safety, and accountability are built into how work gets done—every day.As a Compliance Specialist, you’ll strengthen regulatory readiness across the organization by improving systems, supporting teams, and ensuring our quality commitments stand up to scrutiny. Your work helps Jones Healthcare Group deliver consistent, compliant, and high‑quality products in a highly regulated environment.What You’ll Be Accountable For:
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure facility-wide adherence to SQF, ISO, GMP, HACCP, pest control, and customer requirements.
- Quality System Integrity: Maintain accurate, accessible, and audit‑ready records that support regulatory and customer compliance.
- SQF Leadership: Act as the SQF Practitioner and primary resource for food safety and quality compliance matters.
- Audit & Inspection Readiness: Lead internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections from preparation through follow‑up.
- CAPA Management: Document findings, perform root cause analysis, assess risk, and drive timely corrective and preventive actions.
- Document Control: Maintain and govern controlled documents, promoting strong documentation practices across the organization.
- QMS Administration: Administer electronic Quality Management System modules with strong data integrity and traceability.
- Change Control Oversight: Ensure all material, equipment, process, and facility changes are properly evaluated, approved, and documented.
- Training & Awareness: Develop and deliver training on SQF, ISO, HACCP, GMP, and pest control standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify compliance gaps, reduce risk, and strengthen food safety and quality culture.
- Customer Compliance: Manage customer questionnaires, documentation requests, and compliance-related communications.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with production, maintenance, health and safety, and other teams to embed compliance into daily operations.
- Risk Communication: Escalate issues, analyze trends, and recommend practical, compliant solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in compliance, quality, or regulatory roles in a pharmaceutical, nutrition, or consumer packaged goods manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience leading internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
- Strong working knowledge of SQF, ISO, GMP, HACCP, and pest control programs.
- Experience with document control, change control, and electronic QMS platforms.
- Proven capability in root cause analysis and CAPA execution.
- Strong analytical thinking and risk-based decision-making skills.
- Clear, professional communication and facilitation skills.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and promote a strong compliance culture.
- High attention to detail with an organized, solutions-focused mindset.
