- Price Planning: Lead the activation of comprehensive pricing strategies that support the organization's long-term growth, and price realization objectives focused on optimizing price across markets and key product segments.
- Data-Driven Insights: Utilize advanced analytics and modeling techniques to derive actionable insights from internal and external data sources, guiding pricing decisions and initiatives. Support deal engagement among key internal stakeholders for major opportunities.
- Pricing Attainment: Champion the adoption of value-based pricing methodologies, leveraging customer segmentation and willingness-to-pay analysis to capture maximum value from products and services.
- Manage the national account price adjustment process, which includes updating the price sheets, and sales education.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track pricing performance, conducting regular performance reviews, and adjusting of strategies as needed.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate pricing risks, such as margin erosion, price cannibalization, and competitive threats, through proactive monitoring and strategic interventions.
- Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in pricing strategy and contribute thought leadership to the organization through publications, presentations, and industry forums.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or Finance
- Professional Pricing Society (PPS) Certified Pricing Professional (CPP) preferred
- 6+ Years experience in similar role
- Deep understanding of pricing theory, methodologies, and best practices
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful pricing strategies in complex environments.
- Proficiency in pricing software or tools (e.g., price optimization software, revenue management systems) is a plus.
- Experience with PROS Price Management, Infor CPQ and Microsoft D365 systems is preferable.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in statistical analysis, financial modelling, and data visualization tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively engage and align cross-functional teams and senior executives.
- Proven ability to drive results through collaboration, innovation, and strategic thinking.
- Experience in B2B industries, particularly in manufacturing, is highly desirable.
