Job title: Production Summer StudentSummary: Working on the production line/area preparing raw product for cookhouse and/or shipment. Includes assembling, netting, and marinating/seasoning roasts, stripping product of casing, sealing and packing product, transferring cooked product from racks into combos for shipping.Job Types:Temporary/Full-time = 40 hours per week + Saturdays as required.Work Term: April 27-September 4, 2026.Shift Timing: Days (6:00am-2:30pm) or Afternoons (2:00-10:30pm or 2:30-11:00pm).Work Location: Sofina Foods Inc. at 1226 Trafalgar St. London, Ontario, N5Z 1H5.Key Accountabilities:
  • Prepare and handle raw material according to recipes and production schedules.
  • Conduct visual and physical quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following strict hygiene and sanitation protocols.
  • Follow all workplace safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
REPORTS TO: Production SupervisorQUALIFICATIONS:
  • Full-time student currently enrolled in post-secondary education/institution.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Working in cold environments.
  • This position requires walking, standing, bending, stair climbing, and lifting up to 35lbs.
