
District Sales Manager - Allied Air

- Develops and executes growth plans in a defined geographic region. This role will work intimately with the branch managers and territory managers. This includes development of new dealers and growth of existing business.
- You are an Allied representative who will work with the distribution’s leaders to assist in sales-oriented activities, marketing, promotions, training, along with other related support.
- Negotiates and assists RSM with price levels in market for dealers, jobs, and zones. Will be asked to follow Rules of Engagement through their agreements.
- Ensures high post-sales satisfaction, facilitating positive long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with customers. Work on account and territory plans on an annual, quarterly, and monthly basis.
- Remote-based opportunity with 60% travel expected.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
- Bilingual French/English is preferred.
- Strong initiative, excellent communication (Bilingual English and French), and interpersonal skills. Skills will be used to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. Candidate must demonstrate exceptional skills in building relationships, active listening, and persuasive communication. Must have knowledge of principles and methods for coaching, displaying, promoting, and selling products or services. Must exhibit strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends. Additionally, must have effective negotiation experience and the ability to navigate and solve complex business challenges.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must be able to lean and adopt Customer Relationship Management software.
- Must have the ability to effectively communicate and present on an executive level.
- Industry and HVAC product knowledge preferred.
- Experience in Two-Step Distribution Model preferred.
