Duration : 10 months, possible for extension
Work Environment: Hybrid, 2-3 days working in the Mississauga office
Hours: 37.5 Hours per weekResponsibilities:
- Assist with facilitating workshop in building capabilities for merchandising forecast tools
- Recognized as the Subject Expert in forecast metrics, calculations
- Work with Developers and Business partners in gathering requirements and also building capabilities that meet business needs
- Strong financial acumen & understanding financial and merchandising terminologies
- Strong presentation skills and ability to build product roadmaps
- Strong communication skills
- Assist with the month-end/quarter-end reporting of results and narratives/explanations in collaboration with Finance
- Ability to bridge gaps with technology and business asks and make recommendations
- Assist with the forecast process and narratives/explanations in collaboration with Finance Assist with Managing & Monitoring Month End Activities
- Evaluating existing processes and identifying areas for improvement, manages and relays the execution of standard processes and controls by providing guidance and expertise on
- Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency.
- 7+ years of experience in a related tech finance role.
- Preferably CPA qualified
- Proved experience in Financial planning and analysis
- Experience supporting Journal Entries & month end processes.
- Good Communication - cross communication with different teams & vendors
- Retail Background experience is an asset.
- Experience in merch planning tools or oracle PBCS experience is an asset
