- Establish and enforce standard work, documented processes, and operational discipline.
- Monitor throughput, downtime, scrap, and rework; drive root cause and corrective actions.
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and efficiency gains.
- Align production priorities with Planning and Supply Chain.
- Define and enforce standards for material flow, staging, labeling, and system accuracy.
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve flow, efficiency, and labor utilization.
- Drive improvements in picking accuracy, inventory movement, and on-time shipping.
- Identify opportunities to reduce handling cost and improve throughput through process and technologyimprovements.
- Establish and enforce integrated standards for quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across receiving, production, and shipping.
- Ensure consistent execution of inspection processes, documentation, training, and audit readiness.
- Drive reduction in defects, rework, safety incidents, and cost of poor quality through continuous improvement.
- Promote a culture of accountability, risk awareness, and adherence to operational standards.
- Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance programs to maximize uptime.
- Monitor equipment performance and implement reliability and cost improvement initiatives.
- Support capital planning, automation projects, and equipment upgrades.
- Ensure maintenance strategies align with production efficiency and cost targets.
- Own operational cost performance including labor, overtime, scrap, rework, and indirect costs.
- Conduct regular cost reviews and variance analysis, identifying and executing cost reduction initiatives.
- Drive productivity improvements through lean practices, waste reduction, and process optimization.
- Ensure operational decisions balance cost, service, and scalability.
- Lead lean initiatives (standard work, waste elimination, flow improvement).
- Identify and implement automation and technology solutions to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Lead change management by ensuring clear communication, adoption, and sustainability of improvements.
- Partner cross-functionally to support business growth and operational scalability.
- Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and teams.
- Set clear expectations for performance, accountability, and operational standards.
- Drive a culture of ownership, discipline, and continuous improvement.
- Build team capability to support growth, change, and evolving operational needs.
- Degree or diploma in Operations, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Proven leadership experience in manufacturing / distribution operations.
- Strong understanding of lean principles, process improvement, and cost management.
- Experience implementing automation, systems, or operational technology.
- Demonstrated ability to build structure, enforce standards, and lead change.
- Data-driven with strong KPI and performance management capability.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills.
- Advanced Excel and operational systems proficiency.
