Apply now and you can join some of the best technical people in the world and work on projects you can be proud of!Your Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Project Manager you will lead team’s of design professionals and techniciansYou mentor and guide staff and develop high-performing project teamsYou perform business development/application tasks and collaborates with staff to increase project wins and develop long lasting client relationships. Routine tasks include: - Participate in business line teams to manage and develop proposalsClient facing for business development contact, meetings, walk-downs, and presentationsScope of work documents and estimatesCollaboration with multiple business lines to develop opportunitiesQuality reviewsYou lead engineers/designers with developing and managing the project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule.You lead the management of the design and construction of projects.You develop project management plans for projects; establishes goals and objectives for unique and complex projects.You are responsible for successfully establishing projects to achieve budget, schedule, and contractual obligations.You conduct and/or coordinate quality assurance and quality control on assigned projects and facilitate independent technical review projects by others.You are involved in the permitting process of projects, which may require meeting with clients, contractors, interested stakeholder parties, and reviewing agency personnel.You are accountable for making decisions on large projects. You coordinate with the regulatory review to seek final approval.You manage projects of varying complexity within multidisciplinary teamsYou research and understand issues related to regulatory and other drivers that impact individual projectsYou assist business leaders in project revenue forecasting.You oversee proposals including development of the scope and level of effort of comparable size.You undertake decisions and recommendations governed by general policy and project management governance.Support industry visibility and business development efforts by participating in conferences, committees, and technical knowledge sharing activities, as required and subject to annual budget approval, with engagement prioritized based on business strategy, market conditions, client alignment, and team capacity.Your Capabilities and CredentialsYou inspire project teams to higher levels of achievement.Ability to review and coordinate designs and studiesUnderstanding of local and regional jurisdictional codes, legal and design requirements in relevant jurisdictions.Education and ExperienceEducation: Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related fieldExperience: Minimum of 15 years related experience in project management, preferably for water and/or wastewater facility projects.Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng) , preferred.Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.Demonstrated successful experience in leadership, including defining and setting the direction for a team, project, and office; strategy development; change management; and corporate stewardship.Travel to other offices as well as to project sites may be required.This description is not a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that may be required of the employee and other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned or may be changed at any time with or without notice.Stantec is a place where the best and brightest come to build on each other's talents, do exciting work, and make an impact on the world around us.   • Locations Outside of Lower Mainland -- BC & Various locations in Ontario-$135,700.00 - $185,700.00 Annually
  • Locations in Lower Mainland - BC, GTA & Ottawa Ontario-$136,300.00 - $204,500.00 Annually
Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
