
Director of Construction Sales

- Lead and coach a team of sales professionals serving contractors, consulting engineers, and distributors.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with national goals.
- Act as the face of Schneider Electric in the market—building executive relationships and guiding complex pursuits.
- Analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive customer satisfaction and business success.
- Contribute to national sales strategy and initiatives.
- Proven leadership in construction or contracting sales, with a track record of coaching high-performing teams.
- Deep knowledge of electrical distribution, digital technologies, and automation solutions.
- Strong industry presence and ability to build executive-level relationships.
- Experience with CRM systems, forecasting, and KPI-driven performance management.
- A hands-on leader who balances strategic vision with active engagement in day-to-day sales efforts.
- University or College degree (MBA is an asset).
- 3+ years in senior sales leadership roles.
- Background in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Financial acumen and business planning experience.
- Ability and willingness to travel approx. 15-20% outside of GTA, including occasional overnight trips across Canada and North America.
