You’ll work to tailor financing packages to meet your customers’ needs, including both lending and non-lending products, and help them succeed.You’ll be part of a team that works closely with other departments at FCC. Together, you’ll cultivate long-term partnerships, share knowledge and contribute to a culture of learning, innovation and customer-centricity.If you’re passionate about the agriculture industry, love learning new things and enjoy building meaningful relationships, this could be the role for you.What you’ll doWork with customers to build financing packages that meet their business needsBe accountable for the execution of loans, including sales, loan structure, gathering and preparing financial documentation, securing approvals, and collaborating with internal teams to successfully complete financingBuild relationships with FCC customers and internal partnersLook for opportunities to build your loan portfolioTravel to customer farms and offices to understand their business needs and provide tailored supportAnalyze customer financial informationCreate, process and approve new credit facilitiesWhat you’ll bring to the teamRequired qualifications:A bachelor’s degree in agriculture, business, commerce or a related fieldMinimum one year of related experience in ag finance, lending, credit analysis, business development or sales (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)Experience communicating financial information or recommendations clearly to customers or internal partnersProven ability to build and maintain business relationships, including engaging with customers, centres of influence or community partnersValid driver’s licence and the ability to travel for customer meetingsPassion for agriculture, with knowledge of farming operations or agribusiness environmentsPreferred qualifications:Customer service experience, ideally in a financial, agricultural or advisory settingNot sure you meet every requirement?
