Shipper/Receiver

• Responsible for pre-job safety instruction (PSI) and job hazard analysis (JHA). Safely tests and inspects tools and equipment.
• Promotes a safety culture.
• Selects and stores material, equipment, and tools to satisfy the requirements of the requisitions.
• Champion initiatives to reduce non-value add activities and streamline processes while maintaining or improving effectiveness.
• Develops and maintains strong customer focused relationships with all stakeholders.
• Responsible for housekeeping of the facility.
• Assists with the loading and offloading of material, equipment, and tools.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No experience required.
• Ability to safely operate forklift and other equipment to load/unload material.
• Effective organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
• Ability to understand and employ the company’s specifications, methods, and procedures.
• Basic understanding of construction tools, materials, and equipment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
• Basic computer knowledge.
