How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for selling welding equipment, tools and supplies to customers. They play a key role in customer service, providing expert advice and collaborating with colleagues to meet customer needs. The IVR is also responsible for order processing, inventory management, quoting, and keeping abreast of competitive activities. They actively contribute to the smooth running of the store and to customer satisfaction.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESI. Sales and Customer Service1. Welcome and advise customers:
  • Provide first-rate assistance to customers in selecting welding equipment, durable goods, power tools, safety supplies and industrial gases.
  • Provide excellent customer service in person, by telephone and by e-mail.
  • Meet customer needs by recommending appropriate products and services.
  • Seek to expand existing customer base with all product lines.
2. Order management:
  • Analyze and expedite customer orders in a timely manner.
  • Enter sales data, quotes and other relevant information into the inventory control system.
  • Ensure that customer inquiries related to billing issues, bottle balances, order status and delivery time are properly handled.
II. Inventory management:1. Maintain inventory:
  • Assist manager in ordering appropriate merchandise to ensure stock remains at an acceptable level.
  • Replenish store merchandise.
2. Presentation and pricing:
  • Maintain current prices on all store displays and products.
III. Business development:1. Prospecting:
  • Prepare and deliver effective presentations and sales proposals to potential customers.
2. Competitive Intelligence:
  • Identify, monitor and document competitive market activities by gathering current market information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules and merchandising techniques.
Are you a MATCH?We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, committed, has customer service at heart, is good with technological tools and has welding experience (an asset).Experience required:
  • 2 to 5 years' experience in industry, customer service or sales of welding or industrial products
  • Knowledge of welding processes and products is an asset but not mandatory.
  • Good knowledge of computer systems and Google Suite
  • High school diploma
  • Class 5 license, clean driving record
  • Positive attitude and customer service focus
  • Forklift experience would also be an asset.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
