- Provide strategic leadership of planning performance, ensuring projects and tenders are effectively planned, scheduled and monitored to meet business objectives.
- Uphold ethical, commercially sound operations while shaping long‑term strategy and supporting due‑diligence activities.
- Develop and empower teams through mentoring, innovation, knowledge sharing and proactive talent growth.
- Leads planning and scheduling for medium to high‑complexity programmes, applying robust project controls, EVM and analytical techniques.
- Provides expert analysis, advising on complex requirements and communicating clear corrective actions to clients and stakeholders.
- Guides and develops the planning team, driving high‑quality performance and professional growth.
- Supports senior leadership through informed input into negotiations, due diligence and business development activities.
- Experience delivering major rail or high‑speed programmes, ideally within the design or early set‑up stages.
- Degree‑educated with professional accreditation (APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA) or working toward equivalent.
- Extensive planning experience across major property or infrastructure programmes.
- Strong commercial, financial and digital scheduling expertise, with mastery of modern planning tools.
- Proven leadership of high‑performing teams with senior stakeholder influence and sustainability awareness.
