Job Description :We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join one of our clients in Cambridge, ON. It's a temporary position. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various operations within our manufacturing and warehouse environments. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. The Laborer will be responsible for assisting with production tasks, assembly, and general maintenance of the workspace.Responsibilities
  • Sweeping
  • Loading/Un-Loading
  • Packaging
  • Strapping boxes
  • Sorting materials
  • Writing down weights
  • Clear all pathways when snowing or debris
  • Sorting material to put in correct bins
  • Processing material
  • Must be able to communicate with customers and staff.
  • Ability to use power tools an asset
Experience
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with operating forklifts is an asset.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Experience in assembly processes is a plus.
  • A strong commitment to safety practices and procedures is essential
