
Technical Sales Representative - Commercial Construction

- Meet with clients and distributors to present our products and provide technical advice on the products to be used according to the work to be done.
- Assist the Regional Sales Manager or the Territory Manager in contract reviews with distributors and clients.
- Develop/establish new clientele increasing market share and growth.
- Analyze the competition and be prepared to defend our sales position.
- Ensure that the client is directed to Customer Service to place an order.
- Perform any other related tasks while adhering to Sika Canada Inc.'s quality assurance and environmental management procedures.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- At least two years prior sales experience.
- Ability to thrive both independently and in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop engaged customer relationships and effectively implement strategic concepts.
- Excellent time and territory management skills.
- Must be persuasive, sales driven, customer focused and a team player.
- Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite and smartphones.
- Must maintain a professional business appearance in accordance with Sika dress policy at all times.
- Career advancement may require domestic and/or global mobility.
- Company vehicle provided.
- Must have valid driver's license and comply with Sika Fleet Safety Policy requirements.
