- Represent the company for the sale of equipment with existing and new customers
- Frequent interactions with customers building loyalty and long-term growth relationships
- Provide top tier customer support and follow-up
- Identify unmet customer needs and provide solutions
- Develop innovative sales and marketing strategies to increase sales in your area and meet goals
- Stay current on knowledge of equipment, parts, service, promotions, and financing available
- Create brand awareness in your area that meet our standards of quality
- Build relationships with all internal departments to support sales and customer activities
- Conduct equipment and product demonstrations
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Post-secondary education in Ag Business, Marketing, or related field
- Passionate about agriculture
- Extensive knowledge of agriculture equipment
- Strong time management, organizational, and computer skills
- 3+ years of previous sales experience
- Knowledge and familiarity with John Deere and competitive products
- Significant independent travel, valid driver’s licence
- Ability to work flexible hours, varying shifts, weekends, and holidays if necessary
