About the RoleOur Client is hiring a Senior Database Administrator to support a large-scale government environment, focused on Oracle database management, performance optimization, and cloud migration.You will work in a complex multi-tenant environment, contributing to Oracle 19c migration projects while ensuring performance, security, and reliability of critical systems. Key Responsibilities
  • Design and manage database architecture and DBMS operations
  • Maintain Oracle databases (10g, 11g, 12c, 19c) in enterprise environments
  • Lead Oracle migration to 19c initiatives
  • Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, backup and recovery
  • Configure Oracle systems across Windows, Linux, and Solaris
  • Ensure database security, auditing, and compliance controls
  • Support systems like SIEBEL, ARCGIS, APEX
  • Work across cloud and on-prem environments
  • Implement TDE, Data Guard, RAC, OEM 13c
  • Provide technical leadership during architecture and design phases
  • Troubleshoot complex database issues in production
  • Document solutions and support knowledge transfer
Must-Have Requirements
  • 10+ years experience in Database Administration
  • Strong experience with Oracle (10g, 11g, 12c, 19c)
  • Experience in multi-tenant environments
  • Expertise in performance tuning, migration, backup and recovery
  • Experience with cloud migration and hybrid environments
  • Strong communication skills to drive technical outcomes
Nice to Have
  • Experience with data warehousing and OBIEE
  • Knowledge of distributed systems, middleware, gateways
  • Exposure to cybersecurity and vulnerability remediation
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture tools
  • Experience in public sector environments
