Maderra Personnel is currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Reservoir / Simulation Engineer in St. John’s, NL.Located in St. John's, Newfoundland, Maderra Engineering Inc. provides project management, project services, engineering, technical and personnel services to the Energy, Resource, and Commercial sectors.   • 10+ years of engineering experience in the oil and gas industry, including a minimum of 5 years focused on reservoir engineering
  • Understanding of fluid mechanics, geology, petrophysics, and the thermodynamic behavior of fluids
  • Experience in field development planning, including the design and optimization of depletion strategies, well count, well placement and secondary recovery methods
  • Proficiency in reservoir simulation tools
  • Experience in production forecasting and reserves determination
  • Ability to lead the development, maintenance and history matching of fit for purpose dynamic reservoir simulation models
  • Ability to interrogate and perform quality control on reservoir models
  • Professional designation (P.Eng.)
