- Develop and maintain software products and supporting systems focused on thermal and fluids analysis, with applications including Ansys Thermal Desktop integration and enhancement.
- Engage in moderate-to-complex development tasks, including design, implementation, testing, and documentation of software modules.
- Understand and contribute to the code base, following the team's software development processes.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with managers, technical leads, and engineers to refine solutions and ensure seamless integration across teams.
- Deliver high-quality, efficient code on schedule, with a focus on optimization and ease of understanding.
- Stay current with best practices in software engineering and continuously expand knowledge in thermal and fluids modeling.
- Advance Synopsys' capabilities in thermal and fluids simulation software, contributing to industry-leading engineering tools.
- Enable customers to achieve accurate and efficient thermal analysis in their designs, supporting innovation across multiple industries.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience, OR a Master's degree in a related field.
- Strong expertise in C++ and C# with at least 2 years of hands-on experience.
- Familiarity with Fortran and an understanding of legacy and modern programming paradigms.
- Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and advanced debugging techniques.
- Ability to quickly learn and understand complex systems, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
- Knowledge of Functional Mock-up Interface standard, .NET framework, and development experience with physical design or analysis tools.
- Multi-physics experience including thermal and fluids modeling, computer graphics, and geometry processing.
- Experience contributing to Engineering Simulation applications such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and fluids modeling.
