Job Title: Civil ForemanLocation: Vancouver, BCIndustry: Civil Construction (Utilities / Earthworks / Roadworks / Infrastructure)About the Opportunity We’re looking for a hands-on, experienced Civil Foreman to lead field crews on civil infrastructure projects across the Lower Mainland.This is an opportunity to be part of a well-established subcontractor known for delivering high-quality work on time and on budget — with a solid pipeline of utility, roadworks, and site servicing projects.As a Foreman, you’ll be the boots-on-the-ground leader—driving productivity, ensuring safety, and motivating your crew to do their best work. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in building the infrastructure that keeps the city moving.Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate field crews (equipment operators, pipelayers, labourers)
  • Organize daily site activities and resources to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
  • Liaise with site superintendents, project managers, and subcontractors
  • Interpret drawings and specifications to ensure project alignment
  • Monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to safety standards
  • Complete daily reporting, timesheets, and site logs
  • Identify issues proactively and contribute to problem-solving on-site
  • Enforce safety policies and conduct toolbox talks
What My Client is Looking For
  • 5+ years of civil construction experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory/foreman role
  • Strong background in utilities, roadworks, deep utilities, or municipal infrastructure
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Confident leader with strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, production-focused environment
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (clean abstract preferred)
  • CSTS, First Aid, and other safety tickets are an asset
