What are your contributions to the team?
  • Manage production and other services requests daily in the machined parts department. You and your team will have to react to situations that could lead to production line stop.
  • Participate in the investigation and resolution of problems, as well as to integrate opportunities for product improvement. You will be proactive in implementing corrective measures that will prevent future line stops.
  • Revise and/or create workbooks, write action sheet as needed. You will also have to write change requests when required.
  • Provide technical expertise and leadership to the operations and promote the principles of Lean Production and Andon support.
  • Ensure that there are responsible and action plans that respects the schedule for all the problems identified; update the visual management board.
  • Investigate problems related to method and engineering documentation and initiate appropriate corrective action.
  • Bring to the attention of leaders any problem that is not satisfactorily resolved.
  • Maintain method document databases.
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience :
  • You hold a college diploma in aeronautics or any other related or equivalent field.
  • You have five (5) years of experience as a methods agent.
  • You have relevant experience supporting production operations.
  • You are comfortable reading technical drawings and have good 3D visualization and a good analytical mind.
  • You have a good knowledge of aircraft manufacturing and assembly techniques.
  • You have leadership and support the importance of customer satisfaction.
  • You are a team player, organized, autonomous, resourceful, imaginative and you are persistent.
  • You enjoy working in a team and have excellent communication skills.
  • You are proficient with Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SAP software and knowledge of Catia V5 is an asset.
  • You speak and write in French and English.
