Senior Software DevOps Infrastructure DeveloperJoin us as a Senior Software DevOps Infrastructure Developer on our DevOPs infrastructure team team in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.What you’ll achieveAs the member of the DevOPs infrastructure team you will lead the design, deployment, and management of our Kubernetes clusters. You’ll collaborate with DevOps and development teams to build a secure, scalable, and reliable platform that drives modern application delivery.You will:
  • Kubernetes Platform Engineering: Design, deploy, and manage production-grade Kubernetes clusters across cloud (EKS, GKE, AKS) and hybrid environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and Helm. Integrate with CI/CD pipelines for seamless application delivery
  • SRE & Multi-Cloud Operations: Implement SRE best practices including observability, incident response, and reliability engineering across AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • Monitoring & Observability: Build and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, and cloud-native tools
  • Security & Compliance: Enforce Kubernetes security best practices (RBAC, Pod Security Policies, network policies, secrets management)
  • DevSecOps Enablement: Partner with development and security teams to embed security into the CI/CD lifecycle using GitOps tools like ArgoCD or FluxCD
  • Incident Management: Lead root cause analysis and postmortems for infrastructure-related incidents, driving continuous improvement

  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles
  • Deep expertise in Kubernetes (cloud-native and on-prem) and container runtimes (Docker, containerd)
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go
  • Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD systems,
  • Proficiency in managing infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP
Desirable Requirements
  • Solid understanding of networking, security, and Linux systems (RHEL/CentOS); Windows experience is a plus
  • Experience with monitoring and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK), familiarity with DevSecOps and GitOps practice
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or equivalent is a plus
