Together, we are EXP.Are you ready to design your future?Be our next Sr. Water Resources Engineer!Your work environment at EXPEXP's Water Resources Group is currently seeking a Hydraulic Modeler to support surface water projects throughout GTA that involve water resources, project design, and construction services.
The successful candidate will join a growing team of modelers who support land/commercial development, transit drainage, I&I studies, and floodplain mapping clients. The ideal candidate will have some experience with similar project work in the GTA.What a day at EXP has in store for you
  • Provide technical input for the delivery of outputs from modeling projects.
  • Some experience undertaking hydraulic model build and calibration along with optimization of design solutions.
  • Produce reports and technical documents.
Progress reporting and client liaison.What your experience looks like
  • Experience with surface water-related modeling software (PCSWMM, OTT-HYMO, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, InfoWorks, etc.).
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals.
  • Support client liaison, including government departments, local authorities, water and utility companies, and other public bodies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages.
  • A Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or similar), or equivalent.
