- Work under the direction of Art Leadership to maintain strict adherence to established metrics and asset creation practices with an eye towards speed and efficiency.
- Create high-quality, 3D hard-surface assets: modular kits, props, set dressing in a grounded, realistic style.
- Handle the complete workflow from asset creation to implementation: modeling, UVs, baking, texturing, material creation, exporting and in-engine implementation.
- Employ creative re-use of existing assets, textures and materials to create new assets from expansive libraries.
- Establish and maintain a cohesive environment style, with an eye towards detail and an understanding of technical requirements and limitations.
- 4+ years of experience as hard-surface environment, dungeon or prop artist.
- Strong portfolio showcasing work on previous titles or projects in-engine.
- Solid grasp of PBR workflows and material definition using Substance Painter and Photoshop.
- Strong proficiency in hard-surface modeling software such as Maya, Blender, Plasticity or equivalent, modern authoring tools.
- Experience working within proprietary engines, with strong technical execution and problem solving skills.
- Desire to be highly collaborative and eager to take constructive feedback
- Passion for grounded, immersive science fiction.
- Familiarity with 3ds Max
