- Manage a balanced sales motion: 50-60% outbound prospecting, 40-50% inbound leads.
- Conduct discovery calls, demos, and ROI discussions with retail decision-makers.
- Deliver on a $3.5M annual quota (~2 store deals/month; typical deal ~$200K).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with independent retailers and co-op groups, while leveraging corporate-level momentum.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth installation and client success.
- Experience: 1-3 years of full-cycle B2B sales, ideally with physical retail technology or hardware solutions that include a SaaS component (POS, digital signage, inventory/asset management, shelving/gondola solutions)
- Bonus: Outside sales / territory management experience in industries such as pharmaceuticals, CPG, security, or service providers selling into retail.
- Territory management experience in route planning, client visits, and balancing phone and field prospecting is an asset.
- Attributes: Confident in-person communication, skilled at discovery and demos, ROI-focused, process-oriented.
- Language: Preference for candidates who are fluent in both English and French.
- Base Salary: $70K - $75K
- On-Target Earnings: $115K - $165K, uncapped commissions
- Commission Structure:
- $3.5M annual sales = 1%
- $3.5M-$6M = 2%
- $6M+ = 3% (top performers exceed $200K total compensation)
