- Provide strong leadership for the team, wielding technical and business influence beyond team boundaries.
- Drive multi-team initiatives spanning diverse domains, consistently delivering value that extends beyond the immediate team.
- Quickly grasp the business context to enhance customer value significantly.
- Make timely decisions, prioritizing customer trust over expediency, and leverage input to determine optimal technical solutions.
- Identify and course-correct when the current path does not meaningfully serve customer needs, playing a key role in setting longer-term business strategy.
- Lead in setting quality standards for the team's technical work, from code to software designs, while raising the skill level of less experienced team members.
- 5 years of commercial product development experience or a BSCS
- 7 years of relevant commercial product development experience
- Skilled in algorithm design and analysis, good with data structures and design patterns.
- Expert level Java programming skills.
- RDBMS experience is required at least with one of the databases: Postgresql, Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL or DB2
- Experience working with Eclipse development environment is required.
- Experience with Visual studio
- Knowledge of business intelligence concepts
- Experience working with at least one of the following application servers is strongly preferred: Tomcat, JBoss, Oracle application server/web logic, web sphere.
- Experience/knowledge of Soap API and/or Restful API
- Experience working with server internals such as multi threads, process model, memory management, scheduler, clustering and load balancing
- Knowledge/experience with C++
- Knowledge/experience with Hadoop, Hive, MongoDB
- CI/CD: GitLab, Jenkins, and Ansible
