Employment Type: Full-TimeAbout the Role We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-driven Senior Estimator to lead the pre-construction efforts on multi-family and mixed-use projects. You will play a critical role in cost planning and value engineering while working closely with internal and external project stakeholders.Key Responsibilities
- Review drawings and specs to develop accurate cost estimates and take-offs
- Collaborate with design teams, trades, and partners to gather project data
- Analyze bids, negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers
- Maintain cost databases and prepare reports for senior leadership
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and monitor budgets throughout the project lifecycle
- 7+ years of construction estimating experience (multi-family/mixed-use)
- Diploma/Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar
- Deep knowledge of the Vancouver construction market
- Proficient with estimating software (e.g., OnScreen Takeoff, Bluebeam)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
