The Research Analyst will collaborate closely with internal teams to produce actionable insights, comprehensive reports, and data-driven recommendations. The position requires strong analytical skills, an ability to translate complex data into clear narratives, and a collaborative mindset.Key Responsibilities
- Collect, monitor, and analyze economic, market, and industry trends to support business planning.
- Conduct both primary and secondary research to understand customer behavior, motivators, and emerging trends.
- Evaluate data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support development of strategic initiatives, including sustainability, product development, and policy planning.
- Assist with data modeling, forecasting, and economic impact studies.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and visual presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of insights.
- Manage data cleaning, extraction, and transformation processes.
- Maintain awareness of industry developments and best practices in research and analytics.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
- Demonstrated experience in a research, analytics, or business insights role.
- Strong understanding of research methods, statistics, and both qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, database tools, statistical software, and data visualization platforms.
- Experience with digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media metrics) is an asset.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to convey findings to a non-technical audience.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
